Usually Gus's tail is always up, he has a beautiful double curl, and the only time it is down is when he is intent on chewing on his keys. When he does notice he has a tail, Gus likes to to chase it! He is kind of silly like that.
Right now though, it doesn't seem to hurt him, every now and then he does have it curled up but for the most part it is down. We don't remember him hurting it at all and sorry Pearl, treats don't seem to make a difference.

We're sorry to hear that Gus' tail is not getting any better. Pearl's tail has gradually gone down more over the years - or she seems to keep it down more these days (we think being an old lady might have something to do with it), but it does seem strange that Gus' tail just changed. Maybe it's time to see the doctor about it?

If you find out anything we would like to know. Tuni seems to be just fine with her straight tail but she is an old lady like Pearl too :) Good luck Gus and your cute tail!

How interesting, we didn't know tail could change like that. My tail got cut off when I was born, so I've only got a nubbin.
My name is Oskar & I have a blog that I'd love for you to check out, www.PetBlogsUnited.com. It's a great place for pet bloggers to find each other and get some exposure!

Hmm... interesting! Clover's tail goes straight like that when she is really relaxed or really tired. When he is playing or excited, is his tail still straight?
We are awfully sorry that Gus' tail is not as curly as usual. We hope it gets better.
