Charlotte!!

We had Charlotte over last night so her mom and I could make cards.

Indy wasn't too thrilled with the pug fights that were going on. She is dignified, you know.

Although I don't blame her!

It was a full out smackdown!

Yep.. look at her, so not impressed!

Gus and Charlotte got along so well and after a few hours, they both wanted up on our laps while Indy was very content by herself on the couch!

When Punchy so fabulously gifted Gus and Indy with matching outfits, she also included something extra for Gus!

FUNNY STUFF
1.) Worst habit: not chewing, getting into the laundry room and eating the cat food, excessive pooping in the house when I know he just pooped outside! He also loves to find used chewing gum on the street and chew it.



2.) Most embarrassing moment: The time he crapped out a tampon in the middle of puppy class. The constant crapping at everyones houses

Family dynamic (this is a question for those of you with more than one animal in the house. i.e. who is alpha? who is the cuddler? who is the naughty one? etc. I just want to know how you fit into the family!) Gus is the naughty one, he is constantly getting into trouble but plays dumb. He tries his hardest to be the alpha but believes he and I are level on the totem pole.



4.) Your humans' FAVORITE thing about you!: That he can tiptop across tile or hardwood
without making a noise! Gus normally walks like an elephant! The way his ears flop when he runs and that he gets so excited when he picks up toys.

4.) Where'd ya come from? from a puppy mill close to us but originally from a breeder in Quebec. We had no clue what was going on and then when we got there she was with some bigger dogs and we couldn't leave her there.

2.) Snack: popcorn, lunch meat, little dog biscuits i found at Wal-mart - cookie crack.

FUNNY STUFF

1.) Worst habit: She flirts shamelessly with boys, any boys. Her dad, our friends, random strange men she sees walking down the road. It's very funny!

2.) Most embarrassing moment: Hmm... I think so far this past Christmas with the fleas takes the cake. Also one time when we had Charlotte the pug puppy, Indy leaped on top of our couch and peed!

3.) Indy for the longest time was the only puppy, she got along well with one cat and the other cat tolerated her. She loved me but was definitely daddy's girl. Then Gus came along and now she is territorial about me but plays the good little girl. She is definitely the alpha female.

4.) Your humans' FAVORITE thing about you!: Indy has little days, sometimes when we look at her we can't believe how tiny she is. We love how everyone is her friend and how when we try sweaters on her, Indy locks her arms straight out.

Wonderful Wednesday

Rain rain go away....

This last week has been nothing but rain for our early morning walks. Which involves putting on jackets and rain boots and puggy rain jackets.

The one thing this princess hates the most is her pink rain jacket. When I first bought it years ago, she flat out refused to do her business while wearing it. Now... she refuses to move if one of the velcro straps comes undone. These are the beginning of the walk pictures, tail tucked in, head still kind dry.

These are the after shots, when you shake 6 times while walking past only 4 houses; then the tail pops out, and it is one more thing to dry!

Plus these two tend to look like drowned cats when they get their heads wet! You can see how wet Gus's horse blanket is in this picture, these early morning rain storms suck!

When we get back to the house, jackets come off, feet/tails/heads are all dried before we go in or else they leave wet prints on the couches!


Poor Indy, her jacket always sits crooked on her, I think it is time for a new one.
