Olympic Spirit

We are all about the Olympics in the house and in fact our city is an official Venue City - they are having concerts and parades and The Musical Ride are here which is very cool! We plan on going to Vancouver tomorrow to check out all the cool pavilions that each country has set up.
Gus is all in for the Olympics but Indy.... well she has her doubts..

***The previous post was their water bowl, the silver bowls are food. They can't share food because Indy eats 2 or 3 kibbles at a time while Gus doesn't chew!

Wordless Wednesday: Getting ready for a full day in the crate

It's time

Gus has had himself some fun this weekend. It turns out he can fit through the little window the cats go through to get to their food and litter box where we keep the giant bag of dog food that is no longer that big.
And he has been doing it at night when we are in bed. Then we wake up to Gus's reaction of chowing down until he can chow no longer and it isn't pretty. Since we don't know how to stop this behaviour and other destructive daytime activities Gus enjoys, we figure it is high time to crate them.
We are calling them their houses and so far for quick day trips this weekend Gus and Indy don't mind it. They get two toys and a nice pillow and blanket plus we made sure Gus will fit into this one (unlike the old one he was using that Indy has now).

So I am hoping it will curb the destructiveness and binge eating going here. Wish luck in our crate training.
