This little dog has no common sense what so ever. She jumped on a skunk. JUMPED. Several times. In fact she had him pinned right against the fence that when he sprayed, he couldn't get his tail up.
How do I know? I got to watch it and try desperately to get Indy back in the house.

She proudly came running back and about 30 seconds later I realized that she was going to need her own Listerine bath. In fact she needed two baths since she was completely sprayed. Silly girl.

OH Indy just wanted to play with the skunk! hehe
Muah,
Minnie Moo and Lincoln too
Really lil Indy tackled the skunk! OMD she is a fire ball and she looks really cute in her bath!
Way to go Indy, for defending your home from that smelly thing!! Mom was interested to read that mouthwash works for the stinkyness, she's tried the tomato juice trick before without good results. Also, she recommends a product called SkunkOff (can you tell she has experience with those nasty things?)BOL Have a good weekend!

Oh, wow! Indy you are brave! You should have had Daisy with you, too, for back up (although you didn't need it). Daisy could have shot that skunk with her own stink. She gets her anal sacs drained every few weeks - she sure could have given some of that skunk some of its own stinky medicine.
We hope your smelling better.
Pug love from,
