Thursday 13
1) Indy loves to lay in the sun, she can do it for hours.
3) Gus is part cow and eats anything growing in the lawn.
4) The dog that just moved in behind us doesn't bark, I can hear him racing through the their bushes and it reminds me of Predator.
5) The Great Dane beside us doesn't shut up. Ever.
6) Gus isn't good with the heat, he doesn't stop moving at all.
7) Neither pug will drink water on command no matter how hot they are. Pug noses get turned up.
8) When we go for our morning walk/jog Gus pulls me and Indy drags behind.
9) My dogs are 'those cute little dogs I see in the window all the time!'
10) Indy rarely poses for pictures anymore, she is not interested.
11) Gus is surprisingly good with little kids.
12) I really need to weedwack my backyard!

Mmmm
Actually I don't mind them either, tastes like berry yogurt and they were very easy to make, I cut the recipe in half but it still made an ice cube tray and half.

Penticton Day 1
Finally the Penticton Post! I love summer but it is hard since I am almost never home anymore.. mostly going off to softball.
We stayed in this beautiful room in a dumpy looking hotel right on the lake (sorry my camera battery died before I could get the scenic pictures). Part of the furniture in the living room was this ottoman that doubled as a storage unit. Gus played along quite nicely.
A lot people brought their dogs to the tournament, one of them was this blue nose puppy. She was so sweet and Indy wouldn't stop barking at her!
So we brought her over to say hi... do you see her hackles??? Indy wouldn't have anything to do with the blue nose, it was very funny.
Poor little puppy only wanted to play!
In the dug out... Indy is far too much of a princess to lay down on the dirt so one of the nice girls we roomed with laid out her jacket for them.

The end of the day.. they were just done. The morning would start of nice and cool and then around 1pm it would get incredibly hot. It was hard for Gus and Indy because we couldn't really take them back to the hotel and dump them off so they had to stay with us. But we had lots of water and ice cubes for them to munch on. And of course they were completely spoiled by every person who saw 'those cute little pugs! Look at the tiny one!' Gus and Indy got a ton of love that weekend!

Pay It Forward
Back in March I signed up to be part of Punchy's Pay it Forward and I got it two weeks ago (oops!) so here it is!
"The exchange focuses on doing an act of kindness without expecting anything in return other than that the recipient will, in their turn, pass the kindness along and 'pay it forward' in their own way. This is how it works...I am going to send something to the first 3 blog owners who wants to take part. In turn you will then post about this on your blog, link to me, then send something to the first three people who sign up to play along through your blog. There are no cost restraints, BUT don't go crazy! The little something you send can be something you made, bought, were given or found. No biggie, just a gift that will make the person smile. Maybe something unique from where you live? And, remember that kindness does not have to involve money; there are untold ways to help others every single day, everywhere you go - just look around."
If you want to play.. leave a comment.. the first 3 are in!
