Technical Difficulties

Sorry I haven't been posting lately.. I have been taking plenty of pictures but someone ate my card reader!
No, not that someone.

This someone!
His paw seems to be doing so much better, he never limps and he has started to take his meds peacefully.
We did recieve more snow yesterday, about 2-3 inches and then it kinda sleeted. Also I have been super busy making a scrapbook for my parent's exchange student. She was hear in the fall for 3 months from a tiny Villiage in Quebec. My sister leaves in a few days to spend the next 3 months with her, so the book had to be done before then. Once I get a new card reader I will post some snowy pictures and a few scrapbooking pictures.

It turns out....

Someone has a secret! He went to the vet and outside alright. Then he came home and started limping!! Hmmm..
I think little Mr Gus is pretty freaking smart to be playing it up for mommy. Because a little pug who limps like he is missing half his front leg (no lie!) will get lots of snuggle time and mommy carrying him outside to go pee (which I did and then I carried him back inside).
Can you say sucker?
Poor Indy is not getting as much attention and I feel bad, she sits across from me and stares. Poor poopers.
Gus also has a thing with my robe... he is crazy crazy about it. Bites it, rolls on it, lays there and chews it. He also does the same thing to blankets... but I don't usually walk around wearing blankets!

Updated - Gus

Well all your good thoughts (and snuggles) must have been working! Poor Gus has a sprained ankle, the vet is putting him on some anti-inflammatories for now and we go back for a checkup in a few days. We will do our best to keep the jumping on and off the furniture to a minimum.. but it is Gus and he is the epitome of a pug.. STUBBORN!

Who me? I'm a good boy!

Poor Gus

Poor Gus seems to have hurt himself today, he is limping pretty badly on one of his front paws. I am not really sure what happened but I got home from work and he seemed to be ok but when I took him outside to go pee he came back inside with a limp. It seems to getting worse with periods of being not that bad. Or else Gus is toughing it out.... or forgetting he is an ow-ie.

I took them out for their bedtime pee and Gus tried to get me to chase him around the yard! He is eating, drinking and going to the bathroom like normal as well. I think it may only be a sprain, we still have some snow outside. Plus with the temperature sitting close to zero degrees celsius and all the fog, everything has been super icy!
The hubby is going to take Gus to the vet tomorrow to get his leg looked at since it is too late now... think good thoughts for us! And I will let you know what the Doctor says!

Laundry Day

Gus likes to help out with the laundry sometimes.
Well pretty much anytime it is on the floor really.
I guess he likes the way we smell...
Silly pug.

In other news, I have entered a contest on the Paper Popsicles Blog. It is to win some completely awesome clears cuts that are decorated with Valentine's day like words. One of the conditions is I link to their Blog and talk about it! I am part way finished my scrapbook using the kit I bought from Paper Popsicles, when it is done I will post some pictures.

Back in the Swing of Things

The holidays were very difficult for the dogs as their schedules were all completely turned upside down. A normal day consists of getting up with me 6am until I leave at 7am, then I return at 5pm ish. With us being home, it was all shot to hell. I got up when I felt like it which was basically around 7:30am since I had Gus at the bedroom door sniffing and banging his keys around every morning.

Christmas Eve and Day were the hardest since we were go go go go all day and most of the night. We had two little wandering zombies for most of the holidays, they couldn't sleep with all the excitement, the comings and goings, and the guests! Now after a week and a bit of me being back at work, my feisty little pugs are back!

Oh and I totally forgot but my pug pajamas came from The Bay!!

Meet...

Augustus C Pug!

He is Gus's alter ego who is somewhat special or what we call autistic (not to be anyway derogative towards people with autism).
He greets us at the door all wiggly with shoes in his mouth. He drops his toys off the couch and lays there and stares at them.

Now he has started wiggling his tail. Something Gus rarely ever did before so it is pretty awesome that now he does!

Just hanging out

So this was an after shot, the almost before shot is the bottom one. These guys are so bad, some times when I pull out the camera they rush right over. It has nothing to do with the fact that sometimes when I pose them, I feed them treats.
Nope nothing to do with it at all.
I don't remember what they are looking at, their daddy maybe? The cats? Indy has this nasty habit of chasing Galore down the hallway and Gus follows.
Poor Galore but back before we got Gus, Galore would chase Indy too.. so I guess it is all fair!

And it just won't quit!

So we are having more snow! Yay! I seem to be having a pretty hard time getting pictures of Gus and Indy enjoying the snow. But rest assured they love it! Gus kind of swims in it awkwardly (it's way past his head now) and Indy leaps and hops through it.
So instead I have been taking pictures of them sleeping and fighting over their new Christmas presents. While I have been watching movies and enjoying Supernatural season 3!
We got quite a few movies for Christmas and bought some more after: Tropic Thunder, Pirates of the Caribbean 2, The Wire season 1, Lost season 4, and Buffy seasons 1, 2 and 3. Yay Buffy! lol
I also bought the hubby Mortal Kombat vs DC Comics which apparently he beat in 2 days! Now what is he going to do while he is stuck at home for the next few weeks? He is due to have two pins removed from his ankle this week. The hubby broke his leg badly in May 2007 and the pins have been bothering him a lot.
He could also practice playing Rockband (seen behind the pugs).. I'll let you know how it goes! In the meantime I am back to work tomorrow after about 13 days off.. sigh..
