We have this one rule, it is very important.. no toys on the couch! Indy does really well with it, mostly since the toys are too big for her to jump onto the couch with. But Gus. Gus does what he likes. 
However, every now and then I let him keep his toy on the couch since he uses it to fall asleep with. He chews the stuffie while he sleeps, I have tried to take them away but he has a death grip on it and taking it away usually wakes him back up.
We have Roxi over again this week so I am going to let the poor guy get some sleep while he still can!

Dear Gus, this here is your pal Howie. Don't be embarrassed about sleepin with your stuffie. I do that too, even though I am a big boy like you. Annie makes fun of me for suckling my blankeys, too, but since she has got the swine flu, her brain is addled.

That is really cute. I like to use my sheepy as a pillow when I go to sleep.
Lex - I really hope that you two can make it to the meetup - I think that renting a car so that you can see the Grand Canyon is an awesome idea, and the Hoover Damn is supposed to be really cool, but then I kind of like damns for whatever reason. There are also bus tours that will take you out to the canyon if you don't want to drive!
