Happy Halloween!!
Happy Halloween everyone!
We entered in C's costume contest although Indy nor Gus are bugs or bees.
We have a very discontent Ghost, she hated the hood (it has a ghost-y face on it), refused to sit down, and hardly cooperated in even staying in one spot. She was a cranky Ghost but once the costume came off... we were all good!
She is sniffing something.. love that face!
Gus on the other hand, loved posing in his Moo-Cow costume.. he is hoping that Howie will be a Cow-Pug but it looks like his mommy wants him to be a ballerina!

Whistler
I have this picture from about a month ago, you can actually see the glacier on the mountain! It's covered in snow now, but it was pretty neat!

Orange Scarf
I went to Petsmart tonight to go grab cat food and noticed they were having their Halloween pictures!

I didn't know or I might have brought Gus and Indy in but I did notice a shopping cart full of pugs! 5 of them! And a 6th one wandering around in a skunk costume! It was too cute!
Gus's trainer was there and gave me scarves for the doggies!
Misfit looks pretty mad huh? He doesn't like clothes at all!
Poor Indy!

Turkey Day!
Happy Thanksgiving!! I went back up to Whistler this weekend for turkey and the long weekend. The hotel room the hubby is in has a full kitchen, so he told me all the cooking dishes and utensils he had and then I packed everything we needed into my car and up I went! He still cannot have dogs in his hotel and our roommates came up so they offered to keep Gus and Indy in their dog friendly hotel.

Of course I have no pictures.. after we ate, I realized I should have taken pictures... but it's too late. We ate it all. :)
I made garlic mashed potatoes, turkey, mashed carrots and turnip with some maple syrup, baked sweet potatoes with marshmallows, Parmesan bacon brussel sprouts and the roommate made stuffing. It was very yummy and we had pumpkin pie for desert. Store bought I admit.
We snuck Gus and Indy into our hotel room for dinner and they were very well behaved! It was a lot of fun.
Also on Saturday, it was my birthday!! I went to my mom's on Thursday for dinner, cake, and of course presents! Yay! I got lots of awesome stuff, most of it from Lululemon.. my favorite store in the whole wide world! The girls at work also took me out for lunch for Dim Sum!'
I hope everyone else had a wonderful weekend and that my fellow blogger Canadians had a wonderful Thanksgiving!

Just another day at work
So the hubby, Shane, emailed me this today.. he is still up in Whistler working and they have a frequent visitor.

The black bear is about a year or so old, still young and he gets very close to the workers as I assume he is used to all the people up there.
Isn't that crazy? We saw a ton of bears up in Gold River but none of them were this close!
The black bear is about a year or so old, still young and he gets very close to the workers as I assume he is used to all the people up there.
Black bears aren't the most dangerous bear out there, they normally eat grasses, berries, and fish. They don't usually attack people or pugs but things do happen. The lower mainland has had a lot of problems this year with black bears as the weather has been wonky and there hasn't been enough food so they will go through the garbage and one actually entered a some one's house! But they are definitely dangerous...
