I have a peepee couch

It is official..my couch is a peepee couch. And just five minutes ago it turned into a chocolate puke couch. Ew

Gus got into V's room today and ate some Easter eggs.... yea.. it was really gross, I'll share the yummy details if you ask! ;) But here is Indy looking all cute and innocent with her demonic blue eyes!

The following pictures are for Nevis since she has asked a few times.. I warn you the house still isn't fully unpacked or put together. But here you go!

This is the living room, I am getting new curtains so I can get rid of those nasty blinds. In fact I hope to get rid of all the blinds as they are all bent and dirty.

This is our bathroom! I love our new bathmat from Target! I have matching hand towels but I still need a little towel bar to put them up.

The kitchen of course, I apologize for the mess. This one is a lot bigger but my cupboard space is a lot less.

My bedroom... it is a mess of course.

Our random room, it is technically 'my space' with the cat items and the deep freeze.

Happy Mother's Day!

Happy Mother's day every mommy!! I have so many pictures to post today! Lots of goings on.

This is for stuffie appreciation last week.....as you can see we have lots and I don't think they are there!

This is Gus proudly showing off his new artwork from last week. This is the third time it has happened. Thank you for oxy-clean and a microfiber couch!

We went to the states yesterday to go outlet shopping! I found 2 little doggy toys at Target ($1 each). One is an ice cream and the other is a margarita! They love them!

Now the below pictures took place like 5 minutes ago, Indy was laying peacefully on Gus's bed playing with her reindeer (above picture with the red antlers). Then Gus came along and jumped on her!

Gus stole the reindeer so Indy decided to dig... I love it when she digs... then Gus came back!

He brought back the reindeer too.. talk about insult to injury!

Good Families Don't!

Anyone familiar with Robert Munsch? I read all his books growing up, they are cute and fun and have a good moral to them. My all time favorite is Pigs! and Good Families Don't.

Pigs! is about a girl who lets the family's pigs escape and Good Families Don't is all about farting and how proper families just don't do it.

Well in my house, my family does. In particular, the pugs do, and they stink. Gus, we believe sincerely, is rotten inside. Like so rotten, you can't blame it on someone else because there is no way a person could smell so badly!! I don't really know what is causing it, but his stomach doesn't seem to be too upset, that I can tell. He just stinks.

Indy on the other hand is a lady and outgrew her stinkiness! Thank god, since every time she did let one go my husband told me to stop blaming the dog! That lasted until she farted on him.

One thing that was really funny was when we moved into the house, Indy was standing on my lap looking out the window. She saw another dog and started barking, every time she barked, I would hear this little pfft sound. I couldn't figure it out until I looked down at her and realized that she was farting!! I don't even think she realized!

It's Friday.. I am at work.. need I say more?

1. What were you doing 5 years ago today?
I was living in a 4-plex with my then boyfriend (now the hubby) and 2 other guys that he used to work with. We were having massive bbq's/parties every Friday night after work with the students downstairs. I had had Misfit for 4 months and he was finally starting to get well and resemble physically and mentally a healthy cat. (he was a drug kitty, ended up with withdrawal, mites, worms, fleas, a pneumonia type virus, 2 severe eye infections and was tested multiple times for feline aids. Very scary, I look at those pictures now and he looks like fur and bones). I was working massive slave labor at 10 to 12 hour days at the Vancouver International Airport for an American Company called Hudson News/Group as they were opening their 3rd Canadian branch. I was solely existing off minimum wage and I wasn't broke!

2. Name 5 snacks that you love:
-Nachos
-Chips and dip
-cheese
-popcorn
-coke zero

3. What are 5 things on your ‘To-Do’ list for today/ Or things you’ve already done today: (i need to do them all at some point after work today)
-Clean the litter box
-Make a birthday card for a friend
-walk the dogs
-exchange and then wash and shrink a new shirt
-Pick up a dishwasher we bought from Craig's list after 6pm before getting ready to head to said friend's birthday dinner

-Buy a big house with a big yard AND a small pool

-I am addicted to energy drinks
-I buy snacky foods for work, eat most of them over the course of a week or two and then leave the box with one or two left in the cupboard for 3 months
-I buy cereal and do the same thing as above. (i threw out 4 boxes of open, almost empty, stale cereal when i moved)
-Bring home left overs and not eat them.
-I leave my clean, worn clothes on the floor beside the bed when i should put them away

Defying the conventional meaning of the word pawpular, Indy can't scratch behind an ear without it being reported and talked about. Indy leaves pets of the opposite sex blubbering and babbling nonsensically after each encounter, their cuteness and charm receptors bubbling over with excitement. Adjustments

So things seem to be smoothly sailing along. Our biggest bump in the road is a new floor for V's room, as of right now, she is sleeping on our living room couch. The dogs love it, they snuggle right up and as long as Gus doesn't leap and hop all over her, they can stay on the couch.

Still no pictures of the house, I am forbidden until its been scrubbed clean. Sorry guys.

Poor Indy... so tired from all the excitement, she doesn't really like the saw (for cutting floor boards) but LOVES the backyard. She has finally stopped hitting her food bowl in the middle of the day, one word from her Daddy and that was that!

Gus is well, Gus. Racing around and getting into everything! I feel bad but when he is in the yard, his leash is on. I don't need to be chasing him around at 6 am! Hopefully some sort of fence will go up soon. One thing I have noticed with Gus lately, is that he carries my shoes around. He doesn't chew on them at all, I find them on the couch or in the kitchen. Very odd. :)

I have noticed that his manners and listening are very much improved, puppy school was worth it!

We took them to softball Tuesday night (we go again tonight, I hope for pictures this time). I made sure I had some chewies to keep them occupied, Indy especially, since she isn't much of a sit and watch Daddy play ball kind of girl!

They were very well behaved, Gus laid at my feet and every now and then hopped on to my lap for a quick cuddle. Indy laid behind us, as far as her leash could stretch so she could chew her chewie. Before and after the game I let them race around and play fetch. Gus met a cute little terrier cross named Niko and they played nicely(I was worried!).
